VTN West, Inc. is the successor of the original Voorheis-Trindle Engineering Company, founded in 1950, in Van Nuys, California. Long recognized as a leading firm in civil engineering, the company's expertise has expanded over more than 50 years to include land planning and construction management.

Throughout its history, VTN West has made significant contributions to the region, working to create some of the most beautiful and most desirable places to live and work in Southern California. The renowned communities of Porter Ranch and Palisades Highlands were the result of the efforts and expertise of the planners, engineers and surveyors of VTN West. More recent design contributions by our staff include major portions of Wood Ranch and Dos Vientos Ranch in Ventura County.

In 1991, four key management personnel purchased VTN West, Inc. from its parent, the publicly held VTN Corporation. This purchase was the result of a change in philosophy of the parent corporation and has served to foster the long range goals and desires of VTN West's management and staff.
